Mumford & Sons are coming back to Ireland.

The chart-toppers capped off an incredible summer with a huge return show at Reading Festival on Friday night, where they announced details of a UK/Ireland arena tour live on stage.

The rockers will play Dublin’s 3Arena on December 2nd.

The forthcoming dates will mark the band’s first tour here since 2012.

Wilder Mind, the third studio album from Mumford & Sons, debuted at number one in six countries upon its release in May.

They head out in November for an eleven date run, kicking off at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena on 28th November, and concluding at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on 13th December.

The tour includes two nights at London’s O2.

Jack Garratt will play support.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale at 9am on Friday 4th September through the band’s website: www.mumfordandsons.com and at www.ticketmaster.ie

Dublin 3Arena tickets are priced from €51.65.
