A Night For Pieta, which takes place November 1st at the Olympia Theatre, is shaping up to be an unmissable night.
Mundy, Tom Dunne of Something Happens, The Waterboys’ Steve Wickham, Republic of Loose frontman Mick Pyro and Eurovision Winners Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan have all been added to what was already a stellar line up.
Mundy has been added to the November 1st lineup.
They’ll be joining Tua Nua, Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains, Blink, The Pale, Picturehouse, Friends of Emmett, Songs in the Key of D Choir, Cactus World News and The Fountainhead.
Brian Higgins, CEO of Pieta House explained why the night has special significance:
“We’re extremely grateful to all the acts for once again choosing to perform for Pieta House at this wonderful event.
The Chieftains’ Paddy Moloney is also set to perform on the night.
“Events of this kind are essential not only to fundraise, but also to raise awareness of suicide and self-harm in our communities. Last year’s concert was a great success and with this year’s stellar line-up we’ve no doubt that this year the concert will be even better.”
The Chieftains’ Paddy Moloney added:
“Each of us knows many people who’ve been affected by suicide and music is a powerful way for us to come together and remember those we lost.”
Tickets for the event are €20, available here.
