We really wish we’d been there.
There was a big treat in store for fans of The Strypes in Dublin over the weekend as the band performed a secret gig for the Retro Revival Indie Club’s fifth birthday.
The band went under the name The Stoneage Romeos, but word soon leaked on social media who they really were and fans flocked to the venue to get a glimpse at them.
Not much is known of the Stoneage Romeos. Rumours abound of WHO it might be? You’ll just have to come along on… http://t.co/c9tCvI3ATi

“It was a big surprise when the poster went up outside Sweeney’s in Dame Street where the night is held,” a fan told The Mirror.
“A few people had worked it out from the clues given on Facebook but word spread quickly around Dublin.”
