He’s a bit of a legend both on and off the screen which is why we would love to see this actually happen.
It seems Neighbours star Alan Fletcher, better known as Dr Karl Kennedy, thinks it’s great news that Australia has been invited to compete in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
In fact he admitted that he would “absolutely love” to fly to Vienna in May and wouldn’t mind taking to the stage himself.
He told Radio 5 Live: “I’d be there with bells on. I think I’d probably have to wear a wig and grow a beard. But I’d be happy to do anything. The sequin suits, I can see it all now.”
If you are a Neighbours fan, you will know that Dr Kennedy is prone to a good old sing-song. Alan is also a member of a band called Waiting Room.
