One Direction stars Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have this week confirmed reports that the band will be taking a break in 2016.
Speaking about the news, Mullingar lad Niall took to Twitter to reassure fans.
Niall made the comments on Twitter.
“We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well-earned break at some point next year,” he wrote.

The news of the boy band’s split broke on Sunday night when a source told The Sun that the lads were planning to take “at least a year to work on their own projects”.
Twitter went into meltdown when the news broke, with fans unable to believe that the lads would part ways.
