So Noel Gallagher isn’t a huge fan of Taylor Swift… or at least he doubts that people praise her for her songwriting abilities.
When the High Flying Birds star was told that she is known for her songwriting talents during a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he questioned the statement.
He responded: “Who says that? Her parents… Name these people. You’re f**king lying. She seems like a nice girl but no one has ever said those words, and you f**king know it.”
Noel gave his opinion on Taylor Swift.
The pop star wasn’t the only music act that Noel was asked about. He also gave his opinion on One Direction.
“They’re lovely lads,” he said. “But I’ve got to say, I have difficulties with people who don’t write their own songs, who’ve got a team of songwriters who work for your record label.”
It was only a matter of weeks ago that Noel took aim at Ed Sheeran, who he has since praised for taking the jibe in good humour.
