One Not To Be Missed: George Ezra Announces Dublin Show

We are there!

We’ve been fairly vocal about our love for George Ezra and now, hot-off the Longitude main stage, the 21-year-old has just announced that he will return to headline Dublin’s Academy on October 13th.

Ezra released his phenomenal debut album Wanted On Voyage at the end of June and there is no doubt that this Hertford native will clean up come awards season.

After his first headline Irish gig in the Sugar Club back in February, Ezra cemented his name as one of the most exciting acts of the year (in many years) and we had the pleasure of meeting him ahead of his set at Marlay Park.

New best friends: Grace and George having the chats at The Vintage Room in The Workman’s Dublin.

Ezra kicks off the Her.ie and JOE.ie Sunday Sessions this weekend with a powerful acoustic performance of upcoming single Blame It On Me and sat down for a lovely chat with our gal Grace.

With vocal talent and song-writing ability beyond his years, it really is only a matter of time before he’s back headlining Marlay Park on his own.

Tickets (€17.50) go on sale this Wednesday at 9.00am from Ticketmaster.ie.

Here is Ezra’s performance on Later… With Jools Holland from earlier in the year. It’s hair-standing-on-the-top-of-your-neck stuff.
