Pink to play her first Irish gig in six years next year

Unreal.

Six years ago, Pink played a gig in Ireland.

It was a good time for all involved because Pink was playing a gig and it was in Ireland.

But then things changed. Pink left and the country descended into a state of turmoil, held together only by the thin hope that she would return one day again soon.

Today is that day.

Well, actually it’s some day in June of next year but the gig was announced today so whatever.

Pink will play the RDS in Dublin on June 18 next year as part of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour.

The So What? singer will be joined by special guests Vance Joy, KidCutUp and Bang Bang Romeo.

This is the first time that Pink has played a gig in Ireland is six years – her last being a concert in the 3Arena for her The Truth About Love tour in 2013.

After that her interaction with all things Irish was restricted to her support of the repeal of the eighth amendment, which was fair enough, we’ll take it, no complaints here.

Tickets for Pink’s Beautiful Trauma tour go on sale Tuesday October 23 at 9am.
