The Red Bull Music Academy has announced that it will host a stage at this year’s Electric Picnic, bringing a stellar line-up of dance music stalwarts, rising Irish talent and RBMA alumni to the Stradbally festival.
The RBMA Stage will see the likes of Boddika with his raw range of genres comprising old school hip-hop and electro to Chicago house and Detroit techno.
Joy Orbison will bring his blend of house, dubstep, and old-school jungle while Academy team member Dorian Concept supplies avant beat bonanzas. In addition, Dark Sky will showcase their unique sounds of the ever-evolving London electronic music scene.
The stage will also boasts some of Ireland’s hottest musical talent, celebrating the strength and variety of what’s emerging in the country at the moment, represented by Kobina, Handsome Paddy, Sunil Sharpe, CLU and Academy grad Colm K, with more to be announced soon.
