Former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt has revealed just how much she was paid during her four-year stint in the globally successful pop group.
In an interview with The Telegraph, she revealed that she earned £600,000 over 4 years as a member of S Club 7.
She also told the paper that she invested the money from her time as a pop star in properties in London, and that she still receives royalties from DVD or music sales but the amount she gets can vary widely.
“Things pop through all the time in terms of DVD sales from Primeval or royalties from S Club 7. You might get 57p or a couple of thousand. It really depends. You can’t rely on it, but it’s a bonus when it does come in.”
S Club 7 did a reunion tour called Bringing It All Back just last year, and Spearritt is currently concentrating on acting, playing Mercedes Christie in BBC medical drama Casualty.
