The weather has been freakishly warm, the drinks have been refreshing and the tunes have been flawless.
Nothing takes you back to a time or a place quite like a song – so what is the song of summer 2018?
Spotify just announced which tune was streamed the most this summer, and it won’t surprise you.
Drake’s “In My Feelings” is officially the song of the summer.
According to Complex, “In My Feelings” was streamed on Spotify more than 393 million times between June 1st and August 20th.
Well, I’m impressed.
To be fair, Drake dropped his new album in June, and I’ve been listening to it on repeat ever since.
Following “In My Feelings” the top slots were “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5 (featuring Cardi B), “I Like It” by Cardi B, and Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams.”
However, out of Spotify’s top 20 most-streamed songs, Drake had five separate spots.
