Liam Gallagher has announced that his band Beady Eye have split up.
The frontman took to his Twitter account this afternoon to break the news to fans, tweeting:
Beady Eye are no longer. Thanks for all your support. LGx

Liam did not comment on the reason behind the split, with fans hoping the end of Beady Eye could signal an Oasis reunion.
Beady Eye made up of Liam, Gem, Andy, Chris Sharrock and Jay Mehler formed in 2009 after Oasis split when Noel Gallagher quit the group.
The news follows reports that the Gallagher brothers are back on speaking terms, after reconciling their differences at a family wedding earlier this year.
