It’s said the British dance group will reform this New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Eve is rarely a casual, chilled affair as the majority of us go to the pub to have a few jars or sit in and do Auld Lang Syne with the parents.
It’s a predictable time of year where everyone promises themselves to become better people, lose weight and maybe FINALLY, find true love (bleugh).
New Year’s Eve of 2016 is sure to be a blast as the news has arrived that Steps will be reportedly reforming to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
According to The Sun, the band are due to reform for a gig at London’s G-A-Y nightclub and take it from there.
The Twitter account belonging to G-A-Y even teased the reunion of the band with a poster for their NYE gig.
The poster said the nightclub would host a Brit Award-winning group, a band that have sold more than 20million records.
G-A-Y also confirmed that the band appearing had more than ten top 5 singles in their time and many number one singles and albums.

A source close to the band said:
“They had a blast getting back together in 2011 and were blown away by the public reaction . . . especially when their arena tour sold out.
“Steps still have such a special place in all their fans’ hearts and they want to celebrate everything they’ve achieved over the past two decades.”
