STOP EVERYTHING – ‘ELF the Musical’ is Coming to Dublin

Santa? I KNOW him!

Rebecca McKnight

We know you’ve just seen the sun for the first time this year… but is it too soon to start the countdown to Christmas?

Our pals at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will host ‘ELF THE MUSICAL’ this December.

The show will open on December 16th 2014 for a strictly limited season, and tickets go on sale next Friday 13th June.

Based on the beloved 2003 hit starring Will Ferrell, ELF is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

The musical take on Elf features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar & Chad Beguelin, and a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan & Bob Martin, along with direction & choreography by Morgan Young.
