The Staves will play their biggest headline show yet at the Olympia Theatre next February.
The trio received rave reviews for their recent show at Whelan’s in October and it has now been confirmed that Emily, Camilla and Jessica Staveley-Taylor will return to Dublin for a date at the Dame Street venue on February 9th.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the release of EP Blood I Bled, with new album If I Was expected on January 30th.
Produced by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, the release is said to “take The Staves’ original blueprint of sublimely harmonized British indie-folk and gives it an injection of muscle and much-heightened ambition”.
Tickets for the February gig are priced at €25 and go on sale at 9am this Friday 14th November from www.ticketmaster.ie and usual Ticketmaster outlets.
