Bad news for those who had hoped to see the Weeknd supporting Riri during her Anti tour date in Dublin this June.
A rep for Rihanna confirmed the news to NME, saying the Canadian singer had to pull out of supporting the star on her two month European tour.
The full statement reads: “Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour.”
It hasn’t been announced if he will be replaced on the tour, or by whom.
Rapper Big Sean is still scheduled to appear alongside Rihanna later this summer all over Europe.
