So they didn’t last that long together first time around and were also rumoured to be at each others’ throats but that doesn’t mean it won’t work out this time around.
That’s right, the Sugababes are back on the stage. Well technically they’re not, as the name no longer belongs to them, but the original founding members of the popular girl group have done their first gig since reuniting last year.
Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan are the three original members of the group.
Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy who are now known as MKS (wonder where they got that name from?!) performed a number of songs for an event in association with Ponystep Magazine on New Year’s Eve in London.
While they didn’t sing anything from their new album which is due out this year, they did perform Overload and Freak Like Me as well as a cover of Rihanna’s Diamonds.
It seems the girls have kissed and made up after all these years.
Speaking about the record, Mutya told the publication: “I think it’s a step up from the first album. I just hope people will enjoy it. Actually, I know people will enjoy it!”
Well it looks as if they’ve put all that talk of fighting and the continuous member-swapping behind them then. Fingers crossed it lasts!
