There’s a brand new music app set to launch at Body & Soul festival in the coming weeks and we’ve got to say, we think it’s a stroke of genius.
The app, which is aptly named Muddy, will allow users to discover new music while avoiding those awkward moments at festivals when you’re not entirely sure who the cool band on stage at 3 o’clock in the day actually are.
Muddy will allow users to figure out who is playing live in front of them, before directing them to the act’s profile.
Described as a cross between Shazam and Twitter, the app was designed by two Irish music lovers, Ian Henderson and Rob Beresford.
“For the launch of Muddy we wanted to partner with a festival that has musical discovery at its core,” Rob explained.
“Body & Soul was the obvious choice for an app that is all about discovering new artists at live events.”\
