None of the planned five Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park will go ahead, it has been confirmed.
The country star released a statement tonight confirming that all of the July dates will be cancelled and Ticketmaster will begin the refund process on Thursday.
In a lengthy statement, he thanked the 400,000 fans who bought the tickets and promoter Peter Aiken for their support, adding that he hoped the Irish fans would travel to other dates on his tour instead.
Aiken Promotions have also released a statement confirming the news, saying that “despite pursuing all possible solutions”, no concerts would take place.
The spokesperson added that refunds would be issued from 9am on Thursday.
