WATCH: Adele Went Back To Her Roots And Sang To A Small Group Of Fans In An NYC Pub

She was promoting her new album 25 in a typically relaxed way.

You could never accuse her of being a diva. Fame definitely hasn’t changed Adele.

The singer has quite literally re-established herself as the queen of the modern day music industry, after her comeback track ‘Hello’ topped every chart and broke every download record with its success.

So when you hear that she’s started promoting her new album, you wouldn’t be surprised to hear if she’s doing TV interviews, radio performances… or singing in a pub?

Our brothers over at JOE.ie uncovered a clip this weekend, where Adele decided to strip back all the layers and sell her album on her one strength – her voice.

Taking to the stage of Joe’s Pub in NYC, the songstress played to a crowd of just under 200 people.

It was a moment of rendez-vous for the singer, who originally stood on that same stage to promote her first album, 19, seven years ago.

There’s few musicians nowadays that sound just as good, if not better, than the album:

The British singer has already smashed records with her single “Hello”, selling more than 1.1 million digital songs in the first week.

The song also became the first song ever to break the 1 million download mark on the Billboard charts.
