This is how Alicia Keys introduced David Bowie for his last performance.
Although the iconic singer released his final album Blackstar late last year, it’s been ten years since his final performance.
The 69-year-old passed away after an eighteen month battle with cancer this weekend, leaving the album as his parting gift.
Although he was still very much musically active, his last performance was in 2006, when he sang Changes alongside Alicia Keys in New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
Since his passing, it has emerged that he suffered from numerous health difficulties, as well as cancer, and has had multiple heart attacks since an emergency heart surgery in 2004 to treat an acutely blocked artery.
