Tickets for his Croke Park date go on sale on Thursday and Ed Sheeran reminded us just how good he is earlier today with a killer Live Lounge cover.
We were surprised to say the least when the Thinking Out Loud singer revealed he had chosen Christina Aguilera’s Dirrty as his cover track for the BBC Radio 1 appearance but his funky R’n’B interpretation of the pop track was absolutely brilliant.
Sheeran’s session hit a little speed bump on Monday when he found that that the song he had chosen had been banned by the station.
Found out the song I learnt for live lounge tomorrow mornin is banned, so back to the drawing board, open to suggestions…

Luckily, he came up with what may be our favourite Live Lounge performance ever and definitely gets bonus points for taking on that rap!
