2014 has been quite an incredible year for Irish music and for one Wicklow man in particular.

Hozier made his debut on BBC Two’s flagship music show Later… with Jools Holland last night and he absolutely killed it.

Holland returned last week with his 45th series of the music show, with a phenomenal opening line-up.

Eyes were fixed on the programme this week with the announcement that the 24-year-old would be gracing the stage.

The Bray native performed his monster hit, Take Me To Church and following his performance Hozier sent a lovely tweet to fans thanking them for their support during “one of the biggest weeks” of his life.

We’ll be tuning into Friday night’s extended version of the show to hopefully see a second performance from the country’s new biggest musical export.

Hozier being incredible as always…
