Westlife are giving one lucky fan the chance to have them play at their wedding

This is one way that’s sure to have any Westlife fan flying without wings!

Make sure you’re sitting down for this news. To raise money for this year’s Comic relief, Westlife are offering one fan a once in a lifetime chance to have them perform at a family celebration, that includes a wedding, a 21st, a christening, maybe even a garden party, who knows.

According to The Mirror who spoke with an insider in the TV world the lads were supposed to play Comic Relief this year but can’t due to logistical reasons. But of course the lads wanted to be part of such an incredible cause so they have gone and offered up themselves to raise money for charity.

“This has never been done by the band before but they were desperate to contribute to Comic Relief in a major way.”

The insider revealed “the competition will be run across 2FM in the build up to Friday June 26. The lucky winner will be notified live on air by host of Comic Relief, Nicky Byrne.”

“They will play at a wedding maybe for someone who had to cancel their reception due to the pandemic. Or they will do a Christening or a 21st, whatever the winner wants and we hope that this will help praise big money for the charity.”

Think about it, Nicky, Shane, Kian and Mark all together with your family celebrating and singing and I’m sure you could have a say in the playlist. So if you are a fan or know someone who is I would say you should be tuning into 2fm over the next few days to see what the story is and get planning the biggest day of your life!
