X Factor judge, Louis Walsh had two of his acts chopped last week and now Stereo Kicks, the eight-piece band which includes Irish lad, Chris Leonard, are anxious ahead of tonight’s live shows.

According to the Daily Star the young Meath lad revealed that the band were “running out of time” ahead of the show. He explained that the band had experienced a number of problems this week as they tried to appear for the 80s-themed show.

The 18-year-old contestant admitted that the band were now on their third song of the week, after the first two songs they had practised were deemed not good enough for the show.

However, the eight singers were only given their new song yesterday and now, it’s a race against the clock to get it ready for tonight.

“It’s been changed like two times we’re literally running out of time to get this new song nailed,” said Chris. “We’re doing our best and keeping our heads down and working hard so we hope we can pull it off on Saturday.”

Meanwhile the Irish have been sticking together as it was revealed that the band have also won the support of One Direction’s Niall Horan.

According to The Mirror the global superstar took Chris to an Ed Sheeran gig this week.
