It was confirmed this week that Zayn Malik will make his musical comeback on the new Naughty Boy album.
The news marks the first music to be released by the former One Direction star since he quit the band in March.
Naughty Boy confirmed the collaboration, stating that Zayn has recorded a track for the upcoming album.
“Zayn is definitely going to be on the album,” he said speaking at the 60th Anniversary Ivor Novello Awards.
“I’m keeping it interesting. I’m an artist person and I’m drawn to proper singers and artists and to me, Zayn is the epitome of a great artist.
“Our track is going to be ready in a couple of months… You are going to be shocked by what he comes out with.
“I feel that the last five years have the most importance for him, but I feel he has a future beyond that,” he added.
