You know you’ve made it when one of the Friends loves your work.
We hardly needed reminding that Kodaline are taking over the world, but now that Courteney Cox is a fan of the band, it’s confirmed.
The lads recently played the V Festival.
In fact, the actress loves the Swords lads so much, that not only did she direct the music video for their latest single Love Will Set You Free, but she shot it in her Malibu home and even stars in it herself.
The 51-year-old told PEOPLE that it was her Irish fiance, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid who first introduced her to the band.
She said: “When Johnny first played me ‘Love Will Set You Free,’ I was blown away. The song is incredibly beautiful.
“After hanging out with the guys and getting to know their personalities, I knew I wanted to direct this video and really showcase who they are as individuals and as musicians.”
Courteney’s beau Johnny McDaid introduced her to the band.
Frontman Steve Garrigan explained: “We recorded that song, and we just got really proud of it, Courteney just loved the song so much that she decided to do a video for us”.
