You might feel all bloated and stuffed on your way home from a festival, but new research has actually shown that you can drop a shedload of calories by dancing your socks off.
In fact, the new study by Withings has calculated that over the course of a three-day event, you actually burn off a whopping 9,000 calories and walk about 15 miles!
According to the research, the average festival goer spends about eight hours dancing per day.
They even ranked the top festivals in the UK for burning calories, so for all of you out there who think you over-indulged at Glastonbury recently, fear not, as it’s the number one festival for burning calories – with 3,400 said to be burned per day.
Other festivals including V festival (3,100 calories), Reading festival (3,000) and T in the Park (3,000) also scored pretty high.
