Amanda Knox has opened her Instagram account for the first time
It's all about her cats.
We all know the name, Amanda Knox spent almost 4 years in an Italian jail following the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher. Knox (who was nicknamed 'Foxy Knoxy' by the media) and her then Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were convicted of killing and sexually assaulting Kercher in 2009, having spent two years in prison after the first accusations in 2007.
They were both acquitted in 2011, had their convictions upheld in 2014, and the convictions were definitively quashed in 2015.
Knox was catapulted back onto the international stage with the 2016 release of a Netflix documentary that delved into the murky details of the case. She's remained out of the public eye since then, but now her Instagram account has been made public.
What we can see is she has a MAJOR thing for her cats, she's in a happy relationship, and her life seems to be that of any other young woman in their twenties.
The only hint of her past life is the word 'exoneree' at the top of her account.
