Brownstone Singer Charmayne Maxwell Passes Away, Aged 46

Charmayne Maxwell, who rose to fame with 90s pop group Brownstone, has passed away.

TMZ has reported that Charmayne fell at her Los Angeles home on Friday night and cut her neck on broken glass.

According to the American site, Charmayne’s husband, Carsten Soulshock, called emergency services after finding his wife and it is believed that the 46-year-old passed away during the journey to hospital.

The Los Angeles Police Department told TMZ that they do not suspect foul play in this case.

Brownstone’s biggest hit was If You Love Me (1995) which earned them a Grammy nomination and Billboard Music Award.
