Fair City will be broadcasting an all female episode on Wednesday night to mark International Women’s Day.
It’s a first for Irish TV and fans of the long-running soap are being promised that sparks will fly.
An impromptu lock-in at McCoy’s pub is where the drama will unfold.

International Women’s day will be celebrated across the world on March 8th, and this year’s campaign theme is ‘Be Bold For Change’.
