Irish model and mum of four Alli MacDonnell has died suddenly

Cathy Donohue

Irish model Alli MacDonnell has died suddenly.

Alli was a model with Andrea Roche’s AR model agency and in recent years, she became an ambassador for Irish Autism Action.

Alli is survived by her children, Alex, Sara, Harry and Siena.

The mum of four began campaigning and raising awareness of autism after her son Harry was diagnosed with the condition in 2016.

Those close to Alli have been sharing their grief and shock in emotional social media tributes this evening with TV presenter Deric Hartigan describing her as a “beautiful person inside and out”.

Our thoughts are with Alli’s family and friends at this sad time.
