There have been times where I want to go over and slap them silly.
But, usually I ignore them, and walk on slightly embarrassed.
Well, in France, catcalling is no longer being tolerated at all.
France has voted to outlaw sexual harassment on the streets, leaving cat-callers facing fines of up to €750.

This comes just days after a young woman was brutally attacked, for reacting to catcallers outside her work.
“Harassment in the street has previously not been punished. From now on, it will be,” Marlene Schiappa, gender equality minister said.
Sorry, but 10/10 for France having a gender equality minister.
The minister continued:
“What’s key is … that the laws of the French republic forbid insulting, intimidating, threatening and following women in public spaces.”
