Following Donald Trump's decision to ban people from certain Muslim-majority countries from entering the USA for the next 90 days, many have suggested that Taoiseach Enda Kenny should forego the annual St Patrick's Day trip to the White House.
It was confirmed last week that the invitation would be extended to the Taoiseach, as has been tradition since the Clinton administration.
Several have argued on social media that Enda Kenny, as the leader of a country whose history is synonymous with immigration, should make a stand for those affected by Trump's ban.
On the other side of the argument, there are those who believe that it would only serve to harm the relationship Ireland shares with USA for the sake of what could be a largely symbolic gesture.
We're curious to see whether you think Enda Kenny should decline Trump's invitation to the White House on March 17.
