The love story that unfolded at Knock Airport today is so heart-warming

Love is REAL!

Rebecca Keane

This is guaranteed to make even the most cynical person feel romantic.

These days, we see too much scandal, blood and horror in news stories but this story is sure to make your heart warm.

Today at Knock Airport, two people met up who hadn’t seen each other in nearly 30 years and it has emerged that they were once each other’s halves.

On the Knock Airport Facebook page, the love story reads

“Michael Brown & Marie Simpson were to be engaged to be married in 1987, but sadly the wedding didn’t  happen and they drifted apart. They haven’t seen each other in almost 29 years and last Friday were  reunited at the airport.

“Michael has never been to Ireland before. We were lucky enough to catch their emotional reunion on  camera….see how the story unfolded here – tissues at the ready!

“We wish them both continued happiness and were glad to be part of their special reunion  #loveatirelandwest #loveisintheair”

The emotional video attached shows the pair reuniting last Friday and we dare you to watch this and not get a serious dose of the feels.

TOO CUTE.
