Tinder have launched a new desktop version so you can swipe away to your hearts content

Niamh Maher

The web optimised version allows users to swipe at their desktops.

Have you ever really wanted to find a date but had absolutely NO STORAGE on your phone? Then this could be for you. Tinder Online is a new experience designed to help users in emerging markets who don’t have enough storage on their phone for the original app.

According to a blog post, the folks over at Tinder explained,

“Introducing Tinder Online: a fun, new web experience and your English professor’s worst nightmare. Mobile phones not allowed in class? Just fire up your laptop and swipe incognito. Cubicle life got you down? Now you can toggle between spreadsheets and Super Likes in a flash. “Not Enough Storage?” Not a problem. Don’t let life get in the way of your Tinder game”

Okay… we’re not onboard with the whole swiping during class or finding a match during the work day, but the storage thing is intriguing.

Let’s face it we can’t get 4G everywhere, and sometimes we can’t bring ourselves to delete our Whatsapp pictures, we just CAN’T.

Tinder Online is currently being tested in a handful of countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, and Sweden, it’s not available here but hopefully soon enough.

Happy swiping.
