A young boy has been found in Belfast – sparking an urgent appeal by police to find his parents.

The little one had no shoes or socks and was dressed in a Peppa Pig onesie; he was wandering the streets alone.

Police say the boy is around three or four, however, he is unable to speak to tell them where his parents are, his name, or how he got lost.

He was found on Sunday on Manor Street Belfast by a member of the public who lives in nearby.

Jade Fee, who found the child, wrote on Twitter, says she saw him in Manor Street and he waved “hello” to her.
