Stephanie Roche has signed for Italian football club Florentia.
The Irish striker will play as the centre-forward for the Italian club for the first time next month, as the team play against city rivals, ACF Fiorentina.
Roche has been training with the club for the past few months following a broken leg that left her out of action for a year, but she is now back to full fitness and ready to make her Seria A debut next month.
The 29-year-old Shankill native announced the news today on Twitter.
She wrote that she couldn't "wait to get started" with the new club.
Finally! It's official, can't wait to get started with this club! @cfflorentia 🙌🏼⚽️❤ https://t.co/QzFL3P6aUP

In a statement provided to RTE, she said:
"I am very happy to have arrived at the Florentia.
"The Italian Serie A is a championship that is becoming more competitive and I have chosen to come here to continue playing at high levels.
"Florentia are a great team. I'm here to score because that's my role, but I'm at the disposal of the coach and the team.
"I've been out for a year and I cannot wait to get back on the pitch, I'm hungry for goals and I hope to be ready for the match against Fiorentina."

- 20 percent more media coverage of women in sport
- 20 percent more female participation
- 20 percent more attendance at women’s competitions and events
And at Maximum Media, we're proud that Her and SportsJOE is backing the 20X20 movement as official digital media partners.
