A very established designer is changing its name and... really? WHY?
It's a pretty well known designer.
And with the likes of Selena Gomez and Chloe Grace Moretz being the face of the brand, it's a little bit surprising that it has decided to change its name.
However, Coach is changing to Tapestry in the near future, to fit in with its sister brands, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman.
According to Victor Luis, CEO of the brand, he thinks it will make the label "more inclusive."
He told Associated Press: "We are now at a defining moment in our corporate reinvention, having evolved from a mono-brand specialty retailer to a true house of emotional, desirable brands."
Ummm, OK then.
As many people recognise Coach as a big-name designer, it will be interesting to see how the name change affects its sales.
