Brought to you by Tantastic
Festival season is just around the corner and we’re on a mission to get our wardrobes ready.
To celebrate our fantastic €500 Tantastic giveaway, we’ve teamed up with four of Ireland’s leading style bloggers to bring you their top festival picks from the high street.
Take a look below.
Lauren Arthurs from lovelauren.eu
The playsuit, €25 at romwe.com
My favourite festival-inspired look and something I will definitely be rocking at Electric Picnic is this gorgeous playsuit from ROMWE.
I adore the extra length at the back and the chiffon material guarantees a super comfortable wear all day & night. Teamed with a fedora hat & black ankle boots, you have yourself one killer festival ensemble!
The denim mini
This little denim dress is a must have addition to your festival wardrobe. For a more casual look, pair it with a white tee shirt underneath, white converse and voilà!
The dress Lauren wears below is available now from Penneys stores nationwide or shop similar looks online here.
Louise Cooney from louisecooney.com
Louise’s top festival pick: Shoulder dress, €24, Boohoo.com
Off the shoulder is a trend that came in last summer and is sticking around this year!
I love the bohemian vibe of this dress. It’s perfect for a summer festival, a day at the beach or even for some cocktails on a nice summer evening. I’ve paired it with a layered necklace and these lace up sandals.
Niamh Webb O’Rourke from lovelifeblogireland.com
The fringed skirt
The fringed skirt is bang on trend for festival season, with a slew of celebs sporting the look at Coachella earlier this year.
This long flowing skirt (€16 from Boohoo.com) brings a glamorous vibe to a very hippy-inspired piece.
Pair with a rolled-up vintage shirt, a crop top or even an oversized jumper with a load of accessories to crown you festival queen. I will 100% be wearing a fringe inspired look at this year’s Electric Picnic!
The fedora
Fedora hats are perfect for adding a bit of an edge to any look. Team with layered necklaces for the perfect festival style statement.
Niamh (pictured above) wears a navy Fedora, €12 from Penney’s – pick it up here.
Dearbhla Toal from belleazzure.com
My all-time favourite pieces from the high street for summer festivals have to be a fedora hat and a leather jacket. These two pieces finish off an outfit brilliantly, especially when you’re going for the festival look.
I am going to a few festivals this summer in Ireland and outfit planning is well and truly underway.
With Forbidden Fruit being the first, my festival outfit will incorporate some of my favourite pieces from Boohoo. If the sun decides to shine, this smock dress is a must-have, and this longer Olivia crochet maxi dress is perfect for extra coverage in the evenings.
