A night away with the girls in a castle?
Let me tell you; Prosecco would be flowing, Disney movies would be playing, Lizzo would be blaring and a lot of fun would be had.
If you fancy a little getaway with your mates in Galway, then you have to check Kilcolgan Castle out.
You will have the entire castle to yourself and if you fancy a tour, you can also opt for that too. While you will feel like you’re in another world (well, you are sleeping in a freakin’ castle after all), it’s pretty close to all the amenities and tourist attractions that the area has to offer.
Close to the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Island and the Burren, you can fill your days with lots of activities before settling down and having a few glasses of bubbly during the night.
The castle is €350 per night which is a bit pricey, but it fits five people so it would work out at €70 per person per night.
