They want her home.

Elisha Gault’s family have made an emotional appeal after “nothing concrete” turned up after a week-long search.

Elisha Gault went missing on Saturday 17 March. She was last seen at around 10pm at her home on New Street in Carrick-On-Suir and on Dillon Bridge in the town shortly afterwards.

A search of the River Suir in Tipperary resumed at first light today with divers now being assisted by the use of side-scan sonar.

Side-scan sonar will help the rescue team search the river bed.

Elisha’s mother has made another plea for his daughter to come home safe, saying she just wants a movie night with her.

“Elisha, your daddy, myself and your three sisters love and miss you very much,” she said on Facebook.

“We always have your back no matter what – you are so beautiful, with brains to burns and hilariously funny. We miss your craic. We just want you home for a movie night – get in touch egg.”

She also thanked everyone who has helped out in looking for Elisha.

“We want to sincerely thank everyone that has been involved in the search (for) our daughter.

“We continue to thank everybody involved in searching, helping and supporting, you will be eternally in our hearts.”
