It’s Friday and the sun is shining which is reason enough to be happy in our books.
This Buzzfeed video really made us smile this morning as it reminded us just how important the simple things in life are as a group of blind men and women describe how they find beauty.
The feel of grass beneath your feet, the sound of birds chirping and the smell of delicious food are just some of the things they mention as beautiful.
One woman says “Going to the beach and sitting by the shore to me is beauty and just imagining what the ocean looks like right now and what the sky looks like.
“At times it can be overwhelming as when you’re blind your life consists of nothing but feelings. Every day is a feeling”.
Another man says that losing his sight ha been as blessing as he doesn’t care how tall somebody is or what nationality they are.
