The most popular wedding dates for 2020 have been revealed.
Whether you’re planning your wedding for later this year, you’re curious as to how popular your wedding date is, or you’re simply wondering which dates are the most popular, Zola have released its list of the most popular wedding dates for this year.
“We’ve actually heard of a lot of couples who had longer engagements so they could get married in 2020,” Zola’s Editorial Manager Lindsay Dolak said [via Brides]. “Plus, choosing a date with a special pattern means your partner has literally no excuse to forget your anniversary.”
October was ranked the most popular month to say ‘I do’ in, with June and May following in second and third place respectively. And unsurprisingly, all of the top wedding dates for the year fall on Saturdays – which is typically the most popular day of the week to get married.
And there’s plenty of patterns amongst the top wedding dates for the year, which also makes sure they’re easy to remember.

Zola – an American wedding planning company – also looked at the least popular wedding date for the year, too. And yeah, it makes total sense.
It turns out that the wedding date predicted to be the least popular this year is Tuesday, November 3, 2020 – which is going to be Election Day in the United States.
