Kate Middleton’s latest outfit is one of her best looks to date

Absolutely fabulous.

That is the only one way to describe the Duchess of Cambridge's latest look, an Alexander McQueen dress retailing at €4500. So while I'll never be able to afford it, I can still dream and there's no denying it's a stunning piece. For day two of the week-long royal tour of Canada, Kate opted to wear the country's national colours and honestly, I'm obsessed with this look. To finish it off, she chose red courts and a Miu Miu clutch and while some might say all the red is overkill, I'm completely and totally blown away by the dress. The detail is exquisite, from the buttons to the collar to the beautiful scalloped edges, it's a real statement piece. On arrival in Canada two days ago, the Duke and Duchess, Kate and William, were pictured with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte but they left them with their nanny on this occasion. The couple visited the Canadian Coastguard in Vancouver before returning to Victoria later that evening. They're expected to make a number of other public engagements this week and as always, Kate's wardrobe is sure to be the focus of much attention.
