10 hydrating sheet masks to pack in your holiday suitcase this summer
The ultimate travel-friendly beauty hero.
I admit it – I have become rather obsessed with the humble sheet mask.
It all started during lockdown, when sheet masks not only became the only beauty treatment of any sort one could at home in our own bathrooms, but also, for me anyway, a small way to pamper myself when the world felt crazy.
Fast forward a couple of years, and I am still obsessed.
Sheet masks are the ultimate speedy beauty treatment – they can plump, hydrate, perk up tired, brighten and smooth our skin – and all in the space of 20 minutes.
Even better? They are perfect for holidays and travels, as they take up no room whatsoever, and can even be carried on board the plane or train – and used in almost any setting and scenario when you just want to give your skin a little bit of TLC.
I mean; what is not to love? Sheet masks are zero mess and no hassle, even on the go. Just pop one on and watch your skin go from grey to glowing in no time at all.
And right now, having tested my way through a lot of masks over these past couple of years, these are my absolute favourite ones:
1. Ultraceuticals Ultra B2 Hydration Mask (5pk)
Yes, it's pricy compared to many other masks, but it also makes my skin glow and look plumper than any other mask out there.
The new Ultra B2 Hydration Mask from Ultraceuticals is a hi-tech hydrogel masks featuring panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and peptides to help calm, comfort and restore hydration to the skin.
It is also enriched with Niacinamide, and will work to visibly plump the skin, making it look lit from within and younger – all in just minutes.

2. Avene Soothing Sheet Mask
Enriched with thermal spring water, this soothing, thin sheet mask easily adheres to your face and gives skin a radiant, hydrated glow.
It is made to treat dryness, dehydration, and puffiness, but is gentle enough to work well on all skin types and concerns.
3. Seoulista Beauty Super Hydration Instant Facial
This award-winning Super Hydration Instant Facial by Seoulista works to plump and replenish your complexion in just 20 minutes – and I always make sure I have one in my wash bag when I am travelling.
Complete with Bio-Cellulose technology, this super absorbent sheet mask clings to the skin and doesn't feel like it will slip off if you move around, which I love. The mask is infused with a targeted 25ml of serum formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut Extract, and will visibly plump, moisturise and hydrate your skin.
4. Patchology Rosé All Day Eye Gels 5-Pack
I always keep a packet of these in my fridge, and trust me – putting these chilled on your tired eyes is pretty much heaven.
The eye gel patches are made with antioxidants Resveratrol (made from grapes) and Strawberry Extract – all to help protect your sensitive under-eye area from environmental stressors—which can lead to early signs of ageing.
5. Rodial Vit C Energising Sheet Mask (4pk)
Get ready for skin that literally glows – I keep getting compliments on my skin every time I have used of one these!
This vitamin C-infused mask will help illuminate and plump up the skin, and it also contains vitamin B3, super hydrating hyaluronic acid and amino acids.
All in all, if your skin has been looking a little dull lately, this is the mask for you, trust me.

6. IMAGE Anti-Ageing Hydrogel Sheet Mask (Single Mask)
A must in my holiday suitcase, the Anti-Ageing Hydrogel Sheet Masks from Image skincare contain an infusion of botanicals, peptides and antioxidants to support the look of smooth, luminous and youthful skin.
Japanese-sourced waters are naturally high in minerals that nourish the skin, and I always feel like my skin has literally had a big drink of water when I use one of these.
7. Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Hydration Heroes Sheet Masks (3pk)
Another firm favourite of mine, and one I keep buying again and again.
The Hydration Heroes Sheet Mask by Sculpted by Aimee Connolly is like a cool, calming drink of intense hydration – and after just 10 minutes, your skin will look so perfectly dewy and glowing.
8. Patchology Beauty Sleep Restoring Night Hydrogel Mask
Say hello to my favourite new nighttime guilty pleasure.
I love the sheet masks from Patchology, and this new Sleep Restoring Night Hydrogel Mask did not disappoint – rather the opposite, in fact.
This dreamy, ultra-luxe blue hydrogel mask is loaded with anti-aging Retinol and Peptides that will plump fine lines, as well as Hydrolyzed Collagen and Centella asiatica to hydrate and help tighten the skin.
I use this a couple of times a week on clean skin, and after having had it on for 10-15 minutes, I simply remove the mask, and pat the remaining serum residue getnly into my face. Waking up the next day, my skin always looks so healthy and dewy – I love it.
9. Kiehl’s Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask (4pk)
A two-piece hydrogel mask, the new Kiehl’s Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask is super-comfortable to wear and stays put no matter what you’re up to.
I wore it on a flight recently, and it did not budge at all, and for the first time, my skin did not feel tight and sensitive when we got to our destination.
An immediate complexion-booster.

A real bargain hero, the Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Sheet Mask from Garnier is perfect when you want a fact fix – and is so affordable you can afford to practise some pampering self-care almost every day of the week.
