Dublin Herbalist's Claire Brett explained to Her how they developed the product and why she thinks there has been an increased interest in natural skincare in Ireland over the last few months.
She said:
"It was the right season for bringing out the hand cream, it’s already gotten a great reception. "With developing a hand cream, you want to have those thicker oils - they get into the deepest layers of the skin. "It’s got the right blend of oils, you feel like you’ve got that deeply nourishing cream but can continue on around your day."The company, which was founded in 2010, is based around 100% natural products. And with a recent surge in more natural skincare products hitting the market, Claire explained why she thinks the trend will keep going. She told us:
"People are demanding more organic ingredients, and that’s starting to branch into skincare. "It’s like food - people are becoming a lot more aware of stuff they’re putting into their body. "What we’re putting onto our skin is just as important as what we’re putting into our body."
