Antique Gold hair is the new kind of blonde that everyone needs to try in 2019

Rebecca O'Keeffe

STUNNING!

As we enter a new season (hey Autumn, looking gorge), we’re all thinking about making changes.

Maybe you’re buying a gorge new coat, or investing in a pair of leather boots, or maybe, you’re changing your hair colour.

I find that I always get the itch to dye my hair around this time of year, as we enter the colder months.

And lads, I have found the exact colour I want.

Andreja Pejic rocked a fresh new version of platinum blonde at the Rome International Film Festival this year, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it.

What are we calling it, I hear you ask? Antique gold hair baby.

Gone are the days of brilliant white blonde (still cute though!) – we’re warming up the shade with this new take on it.

Antique gold hair takes on the colour of champagne thanks to a mix of warm and cool hues. It’s a little more beige- than ice-blonde, but more glorious.

It’s a creamy kind of blonde, with warmer hues running through it, which make the term Antique Gold so fitting.

The one piece of advice I’d be giving you is USE PURPLE SHAMPOO! You don’t want this stun colour getting brassy.

Anyway, without further adieu, here are some pictures for inspiration (so that you can show your hairdresser what you want this autumn).
