"I didn't feel excited when I looked at my palettes anymore. I just got annoyed because I had so much time and all I wanted to do was makeup, but I couldn't."https://www.instagram.com/p/BXgiSJbgw8W/?taken-by=sofiepeterseen But this isn't the first time that Sofie has stuck something unconventional near her eye. Her Instagram is full of eye looks featuring everything from earring backs to safety pins. Don't worry - the latter aren't actually piercing any skin. https://www.instagram.com/p/BWp7kM-gHDB/?taken-by=sofiepeterseen https://www.instagram.com/p/BWYRvoLAt2i/?taken-by=sofiepeterseen https://www.instagram.com/p/BVxylEpgTFr/?taken-by=sofiepeterseen They're certainly different, but we're not too sure how they'd hold up out in the club. Sofie has received some criticism online for her potentially dangerous looks. On her 'bling waterlining' post, one user said: "Ouch, ouch what." Another asked: "bro, can you even blink?" While the blogger recognises the damage her trend could have on her eyes, she has said that when she gets an idea she has to run with it.
"...It just goes so fast that I don't even manage to think about being a little careful. I felt a little bad for my eye afterward (...) I should be more careful, but I'm just glad that I don't have very sensitive eyeballs."Unfortunately for us, we can't say the same. https://www.instagram.com/p/BX00x4_A3SA/?taken-by=sofiepeterseen We all know that there are certain things we should put in or near our eyes. Craft glitter, coloured contacts, alcohol, unnecessary eye drops, and super old eye makeup that has seen more than the light of day are just a few of them. We've yet to read a health warning specifically about sticking pieces of old necklaces in there, but we're going to add them to the list anyway.
