You just have to see how well this €7 foundation covers redness

Obsessed with high coverage products?

A budget foundation that promises to cover redness is causing a stir online

Save your money, gals.

Lots of beauty fans swear by high-end products for creating a flawless base, especially those of us who struggle with hyper-pigmentation or acne.

But we’ve come across a budget foundation that looks like it could put some of our expensive ones into permanent retirement.

UK blogger Kadeeja Khan shared a clip of herself using Makeup Revolution’s Fast Base Foundation Stick to Instagram and said she was very impressed with the result.

A post shared by Kadeeja Khan (@emeraldxbeauty) on

“So I’m very fussy and scared when I pick a foundation,” Kadeeja wrote alongside her post.

“I love going bare faced but when I like to glam up I really do! I don’t want a foundation that makes my acne look worse than what it is. I don’t want a foundation that can see my green corrector beneath.”

She went as far as to say the foundation is her new go-to.

“I never in a million years would think my go to foundation would be a drugstore product! I always thought the more expensive the product the better the outcome!

“It has the same coverage or even better than some high end products! You only need one light layer of it and you’re good to go!”

The Fast Base Foundation Sticks are widely available in the UK but Revolution can be a little harder to come across in Ireland.

It is stocked in some pharmacies and in Superdrug. We’ve tracked down the Fast Base Foundation Stick on ASOS too, where you can get it for €6.91.
